WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in love, compassion, and kindness. We believe in a loving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who came to save the world. We believe each person was created equal in the image of God and should be treated as such. We believe that everyone is deserving of God's love. We believe that the earth was created by God, and as caretakers, we are its stewards for the generations to come.

A member of the Long Island Diocese of The Episcopal Church, St. Joseph's is a Church rooted in tradition while reaching for the future.  The Episcopal Church is a constituent member of the Anglican Communion, and as such is both a descendant and a partner with the Church of England. The church has a legacy of inclusion; men and women serve as bishops, priests, and deacons.
