St. Joseph's Community Garden

A greener future is taking root in Queens Village! St. Joseph's Community Garden is underway!

We want St. Joseph’s Community Garden to be a beacon of hope in the fight against food insecurity, and we envision a future where everyone has access to affordable, fresh, organic, and nutritious produce. This ministry is made possible by a grant from Episcopal Ministries of Long Island to provide fresh, low-cost produce for our neighborhood. A portion of the harvest will be donated to a local food pantry.

Welcome the Bees Day 🐝

Saturday, June 14 at 9 AM

99-10 217th Lane, Queens Village, NY 11429

We're creating a butterfly paradise right here in Queens Village! Wildflowers, good people, and maybe some dirt under your fingernails sounds like heaven to us!

Bring: Yourselves, some friends, and maybe work gloves

Everyone is welcome no matter where you live or worship!

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, volunteers and Community Garden Coordinator, Pearl Nurse, worked together to build raised garden beds.
