THE BIBLE

The Holy Scriptures, commonly called the Bible, are the books of the Old and New Testaments; other books, called the Apocrypha, are often included in the Bible (Book of Common Prayer, page 853). 

At St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, we use the NRSV, or the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible.

 

THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER

The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) contains the rites, ceremonies, prayers, and sacraments for the Church as well as the Psalter and Catechism. You may view the Book of Common prayer online at www.bcponline.org.
