REVIVAL WEEK AT ST. JOSEPH'S
WHAT IS REVIVAL?
St. Joseph's Annual Revival is a week-long celebration of daily prayer services. Each service is dedicated to a particular group or idea. Visiting ministers join our rector, Mother Kassinda Ellis to revive our connection to core Christian teachings, while visiting choirs, musicians, and conductors join us to bring the scripture to live through music. It is an uplifting experience that should not be missed.
The theme for Revival 2018 was Reclaiming Jesus. Based also on the interfaith statement signed by The Most Reverend, Michael B. Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, this Revival Week will address the importance of love, respect, gratitude, equality, discipleship, and more concepts central to our faith. If you wish to find out more information on the Reclaiming Jesus statement, please visit reclaimingjesus.org or episcopalchurch.org. Together with Pastor Asnel Valcin, we will host a week of prayer, reflection, and fellowship as we aim to reconnect with the core tenets of Jesus' teachings. Join us; you are welcome.
