Eucharistic Ministers

Our parish is blessed with eight faithful and dedicated Eucharistic ministers, who rotate between the 8AM and 11AM services each Sunday. They are also available for special services that may occur in the Parish. Following the Sunday Eucharistic they take the Blessed Sacrament to the sick and shut-ins of the parish. Their main duty is to assist the Priest with the distribution of the elements at communion, and to visit the sick at home and in the hospital and to report to the clergy after each visitation.

Our Eucharistic Ministers are also active in the outreach ministry of the church. They visit Hillside Manor  Nursing Home on Tuesdays, Castle Assisted Living on Thursdays mornings, and Coler – Goldwater Medical Facility on Thursday afternoons.

If you would like to receive Holy Communion at home please contact the Rector at           516 778 1399.
