Margo Copes Remembered at St. Joseph's
The St. Joseph's family remembered Margarette 'Margo' Copes during the 11:00 am Service on February 24, 2013. Her long time friend Mrs . Ann Robinson, crying, read her eulogy to the congregation.
Fr. Vitet recognized in the congregation her former co-workers at the Parish Day School and various church organizations.
Margo was an active member up to 2011 when ill health forced her to move and live with family in Conyers, Georgia.
While at St. Joseph's, Margo served as Parish Day School teacher, Sunday School teacher and Usher. She was also a member of the Queens Village Lions Club, Girl Scouts and a member of the Local Chapter of the U.B.E. She was proud of her Cherokee heritage and carried the flag with pride on International Day.
Her memorial service was held in Conyers, Georgia. She is survived by her son Donald. May her soul rest in peace.
