ABOUT St. Joseph's Episcopal Church
An historic Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Long Island and part of the global Anglican Communion.
Founded in 1870, St. Joseph's is an inclusive, multi-generational, congregation faithfully committed to Christian worship and creating a community that is based on love, compassion, and service. We place a special emphasis on strengthening families and nurturing our youth in an environment where the dignity and respect of all persons is championed.
We have a rich tradition of providing education and support services, outreach, and hospitality. We embrace ministries that provide for the hungry, the needy, and the homebound, that minister to the sick and dying, and those afflicted with grief and loss. We aim to offer a place of safety for our youth while providing a strong foundation of faith, charity and compassion.
We invite you to join our community of faith and welcome you to help our ministries and organizations in their mission to nurture and protect the Queens Village community.
"Following the example of our patron, Saint Joseph, we are committed to a ministry of faithful obedience to Almighty God's call to serve our community in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with special emphasis on strengthening families and nurturing our youth in an environment where the dignity and respect of all persons is championed."
