An Episcopal church in the Diocese of Long Island, St. Joseph's is an inclusive, multi-generational church family faithfully committed to worship and service to the community. We emphasize strengthening families and educating and nurturing youth in an environment where the dignity and respect of all persons are championed.
WHO WE ARE
St. Joseph's is an Episcopal Church in the Long Island Diocese, a part of the global Anglican Communion. Our mission is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. The Church prays and worships, proclaims the Gospel, and promotes justice, peace, and love through the ministry of all our members.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that we are all a part of God's creation and made in the image of God. We are free to make choices; to love, to create, to reason, and to live in harmony with creation and with God; but our help is in God.
Meet our Rector, the Reverend Mother Kassinda R. T. Ellis. Mother Ellis prays, counsels and instructs, encourages, and inspires, and advocates for all parishioners and the community.
Meet the rest of our leadership team, which includes two wardens, and the other members of our Vestry.
